2024 Home Opener

   The CSM 2024 home opener was an electrifying evening of basketball featuring a MDJUCO rivalry with the PGCC Owls.

The women's team battled hard all game with the score jumping back and forth until the end the Hawk's lost the close battle 59-52. Notable performances from #1 Angeleen Mulero with 19 pts, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, Lillian Reynolds 6 pts, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks, and Toyin Allen with 5 pts, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Lady Hawks record is now 1-8.

            Then Men's Hawks team soared above the Owls with nail-biting last-minute finish to take the win 81-79. In the hard-fought contest, it came down to one put back from Nhine Wills to give CSM the go ahead 2 with 1 second left on the clock. Hawks were led by 3 double-double performances from; Nhine Wills with 21 pts, 12 Boards, Amir Dade with 21 pts and 10 boards, and Ryan Blakey with 12 pts, and 10 Boards. The Men's team are now 11-6 on the season.
