Hawks Volleyball Players Earn All-Region Honors

The CSM Hawks women's volleyball team is celebrating a remarkable season, highlighted by impressive individual performances that earned recognition at the regional level. Outside hitter Julia Williams has been named to the All-Region Second Team, a testament to her outstanding contributions on the court. Williams led the Hawks with 110 kills this season and stepped up as an all-around player, playing a crucial role in the team's offense and defense.

Additionally, setter Caleigh Bergling and libero Katrina Swanson received Honorable Mention honors in their final season with the Hawks. Bergling excelled in her role, amassing over 500 assists and contributing over 50 aces to the team's offensive efforts. Her ability to orchestrate plays was instrumental in the Hawks' performance throughout the season.

Meanwhile, Swanson was a force on defense, finishing the season with an impressive 340 digs. Her hustle and determination earned her a reputation as the backbone of the back row, providing essential support that allowed the team to compete at a high level.

The recognition of these talented athletes underscores the dedication and hard work of the Hawks this season. Their achievements will be remembered as they close out their collegiate careers and move forward into the next chapter of their lives.
