CSM Softball Opens Season with a 2-2 Split in North Carolina, Ready to Build for the Future

 

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) Softball team opened the 2024-25 season with a promising start during their trip to North Carolina. Finishing with a 2-2 record, the Hawks showed both their potential and areas to improve, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive season.

In their first four games, CSM faced tough competition, and though they split the results, the team displayed a great deal of resilience and skill. Each game offered valuable lessons and a chance for the squad to gel together as they begin their quest for success in Region 20 and NJCAA competition.

Despite the mixed results, there were many highlights. The team's offensive depth, defensive consistency, and pitching rotation showed flashes of brilliance.
