Hawks Defeat Central International College
The College of Southern Maryland men's basketball team beat Central International College on January 3 by a score of 110-87.
Sophomore Warrick Godwin led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points. He went 9-17 from the floor, including going 4-10 from behind the 3-point line. He also had four rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
Freshman Armon Williams was right behind Godwin in scoring with 21 points. He shot 7-14 from the floor, 2-6 from 3-point range, and 5-7 from the free-throw line. He also added four steals.
Freshman Desha Curtis led the Hawks in assists with seven while adding 10 points.
Freshman Devin Thomas provided 12 points off the bench for the Hawks, and sophomore Amir Lawrence had 10.
This was CSM's third win in a row after going on the road and beating Cheyney University 103-76 on December 9 and Northern Virginia Community College 95-88 on December 19.
CSM's next game is Thursday, January 9 at 5 p.m. against St. Mary's College JV at the College of Southern Maryland.
